Direct Admission in St Joseph’s University in Bangalore Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry and Biology 2024–2025.
Admission to St. Joseph’s University in Bangalore for the Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry and Biology is done through the following two routes:
1. Merit-based Admission: This is the most commonly used and preferred mode of admission at St Joseph’s University in Bangalore for the BSc program. The university releases a notification for admission in the month of April every year. Interested students are required to submit an online application form which can be obtained from the university website or can be purchased from the campus. The application forms are generally accepted till the end of May. Admission to this course is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent). Based on the merit list, candidates are invited for a personal interview and their final selection is done on the basis of their performance in the interview.
2. Direct Admission: This route is applicable for students who did not apply for the merit-based admission process or could not secure a seat through the merit list. Direct admission in this case is subject to availability of seats and the candidate is required to clear the entrance exam conducted by the university. The details of the entrance exam, application deadlines and other requirements will be mentioned on the university website. Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for admission in the Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry and Biology program at St Joseph’s University, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in these subjects.

11. Payment of application fees.
To secure a seat through direct admission, the candidate is required to submit all the necessary documents and pay the admission fees as per the university’s guidelines. The final admission is confirmed once all the documents are verified and the fees are paid.
