Christ university is a UGC recognized private university in banglore providing higher education in various fields of Arts, Science , Commerce and Law. For the course of B.Tech, the university offers specialization in Computer science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering.
The university was founded in 1969 as Christ College under Bangalore University. In the year 2008, the college was declared as an autonomous college under Bangalore University and since, 2012, it is called Christ University. The traditional as well as the advanced learning techniques ensures quality teaching and qualified faculty. Over its 50 years journey, it has become a known university for top class education in all branches.
The university has been accredited with A+ certification by NAAC and has ranked amongst the top ten promising colleges in India by India Today. It enrolls thousands of students each year in undergraduates, post graduates and research programmes and has gained fame for its well qualified staff and faculty. It also has international collaborations for students exchange programs and has many extra-curricular activities for all around growth of its students. As an initiative to the society, the Christ university also has organized many charity events and activities to create a sense of responsibility and equipping students for real life scenarios.
B.Tech programs in Christ university have well designed curriculum, providing insights on academic, industry specific and contemporary modules. The application will be released in December, 2024 and christ university entrance exam will be held in April and May 2024.
ELIGIBILITY:
All regular classes for all graduate and post graduate courses in christ university get started from July 16 every year. For b.tech, the program starts from July 25,2025
Aspirants should have qualified or must be appearing for class 12th in 2024, and should have scored 60% and above in physics, chemistry and maths in their qualifying examinations.
Aspirants should also have been appeared for any of the entrance exams likes JEE, AIPMT, JIPMER, SNAP, CLAT, LSAT, SAT
Candidates will have to fill in an application form with a non refundable fee of Rs. 5000/- for the b.tech program. Additional fee of Rs. 3000/- is applicable in case of candidates applying for ECE
Scholarship – Twin rate waiver or merit scholarship
COURSE STRUCTURE
Total course duration is of 4 years divided into 8 semesters with an industry internship of 2 months.
Each semester has a few core and few elective subjects.

Hardware and networking and many more advanced and specialization courses.
LATERAL EXITS: Students can also choose a lateral exit option and take up courses such as computer science and Engineering or Information Technology if they want to complete the course within 3 years.
