Direct Admission in Christ University Bachelor of Arts (Communication and Media, Psychology/Honours/Honours with Research)

Eligibility Criteria:
1. For Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Media:
– The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
– They should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their 10+2 or equivalent examination.
– They should have studied English as one of the main languages in their 10+2 or equivalent examination.
2. For Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Honours/Honours with Research:
- The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
– They should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their 10+2 or equivalent examination.
– They should have studied any two subjects from the following combinations in their 10+2 or equivalent examination: History, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Psychology, Geography or any other Social Science subject.
– The candidate should have studied English as one of the main languages in their 10+2 or equivalent examination.
Admission Process:
1. Online Application:
– Visit the official website of Christ University and click on the “Admissions” tab.
– Select the “Undergraduate” tab and choose the desired course.
– Click on “Apply Now” and register as a new user.
– Fill in all the required details and make the application fee payment of INR 5000.
– Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.
2. Entrance Exam:
– The candidate will have to appear for the online entrance exam conducted by Christ University.
– The duration of the entrance exam will be 90 minutes and will consist of objective type questions.
– The exam will test the candidate’s proficiency in English, reasoning, data analysis and interpretation, general knowledge, and current affairs.
3. Personal Interview:
– After clearing the entrance exam, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a personal interview.
– The interview will be conducted either in person or through a video conference, depending on the current situation.
– The candidate’s academic performance, communication skills, and overall personality will be evaluated in the interview.
4. Admission:
– The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam and personal interview.
– If selected, the candidate will have to pay the admission fee to confirm their seat in the course.
