Selection Procedure for Christ University Bachelor of Commerce (Honours/ Honours with Research) Bangalore Yeshwanthpur Campus 2024.
The selection procedure for Christ University Bachelor of Commerce (Honours/Honours with Research) programme at the Bangalore Yeshwanthpur campus consists of two stages:
Stage 1: Online Entrance Test
Candidates have to appear for an online entrance test conducted by Christ University. The test will be based on the following sections:
1. English Language, Comprehension Skills, Verbal Reasoning
2. General Knowledge, Current Affairs
3. Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical Ability, Fundamental Mathematical Operations
4. Critical/Analytical/Logical Reasoning
5. Data Analysis and Interpretation
The duration of the test will be for 90 minutes and it will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer will carry 1 mark and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. The test will be conducted at various test centers across India.
Stage 2: Skill Assessment and Personal Interview
Based on the performance in the online entrance test, candidates will be shortlisted for the skill assessment and personal interview round. This round will assess the candidate’s skills such as communication, analytical thinking, and subject knowledge. It will also include a personal interview to evaluate the candidate’s overall personality, academic background, and extracurricular activities.
Final Selection
The final selection of candidates will be based on the overall performance in the online entrance test, skill assessment, and personal interview. The marks obtained in class 12 or equivalent exams will also be considered during the selection process. The selected candidates will be notified through email and will have to complete the admission formalities within the given time frame to confirm their admission to the programme.
