Selection Procedure for Christ University Bachelor of Science (Economics, Mathematics, Statistics/Econometrics Honours/Honours with Research)
Bangalore Yeshwanthpur Campus 2024.
1. Online Application: Candidates must fill out and submit the online application form on the Christ University website.
2. Entrance Examination: Applicants will have to appear for a written entrance examination conducted by the university. The examination will consist of questions on quantitative aptitude, economics, mathematics, and statistics.
3. Group Discussion: Shortlisted candidates from the entrance examination will be called for a group discussion which will be conducted on the same day as the entrance examination.
4. Personal Interview: Candidates who clear the group discussion round will have to appear for a personal interview. This interview will assess the candidate’s understanding of economics, mathematical and statistical concepts, and their aptitude for research.
5. Assessment of Academic Performance: The university will also consider the candidate’s academic performance in their 10+2 or equivalent examinations.
6. Final Selection: The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the entrance examination, group discussion, personal interview, and academic performance. The university will also consider the total number of seats available for the course while making the final selections.
