Selection Process for Christ University in Management Quota Master of Arts Applied Economics 2024.

The selection process for admission to the Master of Arts Applied Economics program at Christ University’s Bangalore Yeshwanthpur Campus is a three-step process:
1. Entrance Test: Candidates aspiring for admission to the program must first appear in the Christ University Entrance Test (CUET) for Master of Arts in Applied Economics. The test is conducted online and assesses a candidate’s quantitative, analytical, verbal, and data interpretation skills.
2. Group Discussion: Based on their performance in the CUET, shortlisted candidates will be called for a group discussion (GD) round. In this round, candidates will be evaluated on their communication skills, knowledge of current affairs, and ability to work in a team.
3. Personal Interview: The final step in the selection process is the personal interview (PI) round. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a panel of faculty members to assess their overall suitability for the program. The panel will evaluate candidates’ academic background, work experience (if any), extracurricular activities, and personal attributes.
Note: The weightage for the selection process is as follows: CUET — 50%, GD — 20%, PI — 30%.
For admission through management quota:
Candidates seeking admission through management quota must meet the eligibility criteria set by the university. They must also submit their scores from any of the national level entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT, etc. The selection process for such candidates will be the same as for regular candidates.
However, the weightage for the selection process may vary as per the discretion of the university. Management quota candidates may also be required to pay a higher fee for their admission.
