Admission Process:

1. Application Form: The first step to apply for the BEd program at Christ University is to fill out the online application form on the official website. The form can also be obtained from the Office of Admissions on campus.
2. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. They should also have studied Education as one of the subjects at the undergraduate level or have a teaching degree such as D.Ed, B.Ed, or DTEd.
3. Entrance Exam: Applicants need to appear for the BEd entrance exam conducted by Christ University. The exam consists of a written test and an interview round. The written test includes questions on teaching aptitude, general knowledge, reasoning, and English language. The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in both the written test and the interview.
4. Group Discussion and Micro Presentation: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Micro Presentation rounds, which are conducted to assess their communication skills and critical thinking abilities.
5. Document Verification: Once selected, candidates are required to visit the Office of Admissions for document verification. They should bring all the necessary original documents along with the photocopies for verification.
6. Payment of Fees: After document verification, selected candidates must pay the required fees to confirm their admission.
7. Interview: Candidates who have successfully completed all the above steps will be called for a personal interview with the faculty members. The final admission is based on the candidate’s performance in the interview.

Selection Criteria:

The selection of candidates for the BEd program at Christ University is based on the following criteria:

4. Academic Performance in Class 10, 12, and Bachelor’s Degree: 10%
