– Candidates seeking admission to the undergraduate programme at Christ University must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream from a recognized board.
Candidates must also have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their 10+2 examination.
The admission process for the Bachelor of Arts (Music-Western Classical, Psychology/Honours) programme at Christ University is a three-step process:
Step 1: Online Application
Candidates can apply online on the official website of Christ University. The application fee is Rs. 1000 and can be paid through credit/debit card or net banking.
Step 2: Entrance Exam/Selection Process
Candidates must appear for the entrance exam/selection process for the programme. The date and time of the exam will be communicated to the candidates after the submission of the application form.
The entrance exam will consist of Written Test, Skill Assessment and Personal Interview.
Written Test: The written test will assess the candidate’s logical reasoning, general knowledge, verbal ability, data analysis and interpretation, and mathematical skills.
Skill Assessment: The skill assessment will consist of a performance-based test to assess the candidate’s musical abilities.
Personal Interview: The personal interview will be conducted to assess the candidate’s abilities and aptitude for the programme.
Step 3: Final Selection
Based on the performance in the entrance exam/selection process and the overall academic record, candidates will be shortlisted for the final selection.
Admission will be granted to candidates on the basis of their ranks in the merit list.
Note: Candidates who have completed their 10+2 from outside India are required to submit the AIU Equivalence Certificate at the time of admission.
