The admission process for Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology, Forensic Science/ Honours/Honours with Research) at Christ University is as follows:
- Application Process:
Candidates can apply through the online application form available on the university’s official website. The application fee is Rs. 5000/- for Indian students and Rs. 8000/- for NRI/ International candidates. - Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent in science stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Science/ Statistics/ Accounting/ Geography/ Business Studies/ Economics/ History/ Political Science/ Psychology/ Science/ Sociology. - Selection Process:
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic performance in 10th and 12th examinations. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process which includes a Micro Presentation, Skill Assessment, and Personal Interview. - Micro Presentation:
Candidates will be given a topic to present for 90 seconds, followed by 90 seconds of discussion with the panel. - Skill Assessment:
This component of the selection process will focus on testing the candidate’s logical reasoning, quantitative reasoning, data analysis skills, and critical thinking skills. - Personal Interview:
Candidates will be individually evaluated by a panel of experts based on their academic performance, general knowledge, and communication skills. - Admission Offer:
Selected candidates will receive an admission offer from the university. They are required to pay the prescribed admission fee and submit the necessary documents to confirm their admission.
Note: Direct admission in Christ University is not available for any course. All candidates have to go through the selection process.
