To get admission in PhD in Tourism in Christ University, you will have to follow the below admission process:
- Online Registration: Visit the official website of Christ University and click on the ‘Admissions’ tab. Select ‘Doctoral’ programs and click on ‘Apply Now’. Register yourself by providing basic details like name, email ID, and mobile number.
- Fill the Application Form: Login to the admission portal using your registered email ID and password. Fill in your personal, academic, and other details required in the application form carefully.

Eligibility for PhD in Tourism:
- Master’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or related discipline with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Candidates with a Master’s degree in any other discipline with a minimum of 55% marks and a PG Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the tourism or hospitality industry are also eligible.
- Candidate must have qualified national or state-level eligibility tests like NET/ SLET/ GATE or have a valid score in CSIR/ UGC-JRF or relevant fellowship.
- Candidates who have completed their Master’s degree through distance education may also apply, provided the university is approved by UGC.
- Candidates are required to have a research proposal along with their application form.
