Review for Direct Admission in Mount Carmel College B.Sc — Environmental Science & Sustainability, Life Science
I got to know about this course from my friend who already got placed in an MNC through on-campus placements. Along with this, this college has been ranked no.10 among top science colleges. The college has a well-known club called the Nature Club which conducts a lot of activities regarding this field such as trips & excursions, seminars, workshops, etc.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty is really good and well versed in their subjects. The curriculum follows the Bangalore University norms and is often updated as per the requirements of the industry. Trimester exams & practical exams are conducted along with end-semester exams and their experiences are reflected in the results given by students. The strictly follows the rules with respect to attendance and grading pattern.
Placement Experience :
Well first of all the campus is the biggest one in Bangalore for Jain students. And they provide two internships during the period of two years. In which they provide stipend up to 20000 a month. And the placement provided are very good. The college provides 100 percent placements. Even a health care management student was placed for 15 lpa. 5 lpa was the lowest package. And last year the highest package was 10 lpa, and the average package was around 5–6 lpa
The main factor which drove me to take admission in this college is the cut-off percentage. as I scored only 79.4% marks in my 12th standard the admission cell ther wil only limited college in this percentage. Along with that our college comes under top 10 college of commerce in Bangalore.
there are several factors which drove me to choose this college are 1.faculties these college has one of the best faculties in commerce department at that point of time 2. atmosphere the atmosphere is really good everyone here are really good 3. College infrastructure
Companies like Infosys, cognizant, tcs,Wipro etc. The placement cell is very active and it provides a lots of opportunities to students.
After my graduation, I gave the MAT entrance test and then I registered and fill out the application form online. And after a few days, they sent me a short letter for a Personal Interview. And then, I went to college on given date with all my documents.
The placement and job opportunities in this field are enormous. A lot of companies visit our college like Jet Airways, Etihad Airways, Emirates Airlines, Qatar Airways, Hilton, and Oberoi group of hotels, etc. for placement. Our college also provides internships with a monthly stipend.
College is one of the best in our city and also the college management is helpful for the students
Management is great. It’s clean, food is great, academics are good.
Admission :
The Institute has a simple admission procedure which can be completed online. The steps have been mentioned below: 1. Fill out the application form of the college with all the necessary details while making sure that they are true. 2. Take a printout of the application filed in for future reference purpose 3. Wait till the college announces cut-off lists. 4. Once the cut-off lists are displayed, and your name appears in it, then you are required to confirm your admission by filling in a ‘confirmation form’. 5. Take a printout and attach all necessary documents in it and submit it before the stipulated time. 6. Now, pay the admission fee either online or offline and confirm your admission
We were subject to amazing placements, however, the packages offered varied. Packages started from approximately 2.5lpa to going as high as 10 lpa. Companies such as CNN, Oberoi, Jet Airways, Emirates Group, WIPRO etc.
Everything is good, only thing that affect is not good is the distance as its too far from the city. So its very difficult for students to travel.
The college is an international school which provides very good acadmics and also I am studying in this college. It haa very goods reviews and good facilities which made me to choose this college. The college provides good placements.
Campus is extremely big and amazing with lot of sports grounds different departments contacting everyday event management are really quick in their domain knowledgeAccess to online and library resources is exceptional
Remarks :
I have a good opinion and perspective in the college.My college has the best teaching faculty than any other college in the city.I suggest everyone who is about to join in graduation to prefer this college.C’mon it is once in a lifetime journey so preferring a good college is a better option than choosing any other.
