Selection for direct admission in the Bachelor of Science (Economics, Mathematics, Statistics/Econometrics Honours/Honours with Research) program at Christ University, Bangalore Yeshwanthpur Campus, is done based on the academic performance in 10+2 or equivalent examinations.
Candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Mathematics, Economics, and any one of the following subjects: Business Studies, Accountancy, Business Mathematics, Commerce, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Informatics Practices, and Management.
In addition to the academic performance, candidates also have to go through a written test, group discussion, and personal interview for final selection. The test assesses the analytical and quantitative skills of the candidate, while GD and PI evaluate their communication skills, leadership qualities, and confidence.
Apart from these, candidates must also meet the eligibility criteria set by the university and submit all the required documents at the time of admission.
For management quota admission, candidates can directly contact the university admission office and inquire about the availability of seats and the admission process. Admission through management quota is subject to the discretion of the university and may require a higher academic performance and/or additional fees.
