Selection Process for BA (Liberal Arts/ Honours/ Honours with Research) at the Bangalore Bannerghatta Road campus of Christ University includes multiple stages.
1. Online Application: All candidates must submit an online application form on the official website of Christ University. The application form requires personal and academic information of the candidate. A non-refundable application fee has to be paid.
2. Submission of Supporting Documents: After completing the online application, candidates must submit the following supporting documents:
– Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
– Transfer certificate/ School leaving certificate
– Character certificate from the previous school/college
– Migration certificate from the previous Board/University (if applicable)
– Admit card/Hall ticket of qualifying exam
– Copy of Aadhar card/ passport/ any other government-issued ID
– Caste certificate (if applicable)
– Disability certificate (if applicable)
– Any other relevant documents as specified by the university
3. Entrance Test: Candidates applying for BA (Honours/ Honours with Research) at Christ University must appear for an online/offline entrance test. The entrance test is a computer-based test (CBT) that assesses a student’s skills in General Knowledge, Mathematics, English Language, Reasoning, and Data Analysis. The duration of the test is 120 minutes.
4. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates based on their entrance test score will be called for a personal interview. The interview evaluates a student’s communication skills, general awareness, and knowledge of current affairs.
The final selection of candidates for BA (Honours/ Honours with Research) will be based on their performance in the entrance test and personal interview, as well as their overall academic record.
Note: For BA (Liberal Arts), candidates are not required to appear for an entrance test. The selection process for this program is based on the candidate’s performance in the personal interview and their overall academic record. Additionally, candidates must also submit an essay on a given topic during the interview process.
