Selection Procedure for Christ University Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Accountancy/Honours/Honours with Research)

The selection procedure for Christ University Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Accountancy/Honours/Honours with Research) consists of a two-stage process:
Stage 1: Entrance Exam
Candidates must appear for the entrance exam conducted by Christ University. This exam tests the candidate’s aptitude, reasoning, mathematical ability, and English language skills. The exam is of 120 minutes duration and consists of 120 objective-type questions.
Stage 2: Skill Assessment, Micro Presentation, and Personal Interview
Successful candidates from the entrance exam will be invited for the second stage, which consists of the following components:
1. Skill Assessment: This test evaluates the candidate’s numerical, language, and logical reasoning abilities.
2. Micro Presentation: Candidates will be given a topic and asked to present their views on it for 90 seconds.
3. Personal Interview: This is the final step of the selection process. It assesses the candidate’s knowledge, communication skills, and personality.
Final Selection:
Final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in all the above stages, academic performance in Class 10 and 12, and work experience (if any). The final merit list will be prepared, and candidates will be offered admission based on their rank in the merit list and availability of seats.
Note: 1. Candidates must carry all original documents and photocopies for verification during the selection process.
2. The entrance exam is applicable for candidates from all boards (State, CBSE, ICSE, IB, NIOS, etc.). However, there are a few reserved seats for students from Karnataka State Board.
3. Performance in the personal interview will carry a 40% weightage, while the skill assessment and entrance exam will carry a 30% weightage each.
