Selection Procedure for Christ University Bachelor of Commerce (International Accountancy and Finance) — Previously known as BBA (Finance and Accountancy)Bangalore Yeshwanthpur Campus
1. Online Entrance Exam: All candidates who have applied for the program will be required to appear for an online entrance exam conducted by Christ University. The exam will cover topics such as Data Analysis and Interpretation, Economics, Business Environment, General Knowledge, English Language, and Mathematics.
2. Group Discussion (GD): Shortlisted candidates based on the online entrance exam will be invited for a Group Discussion round. A topic will be given to the group and candidates will be evaluated on their communication skills, leadership skills, and problem-solving abilities.
3. Micro Presentation (MP) and Personal Interview (PI): Candidates who clear the GD round will then be called for a Micro Presentation and Personal Interview. The MP will be for 90 seconds on a topic given by the panel, and the PI will be conducted to evaluate the candidate’s overall suitability for the program.
4. Evaluation:
a) Academic Performance: A weightage of 10% will be given for the candidate’s performance in Class 10 and Class 12 board exams.
b) Entrance Test: A weightage of 50% will be given for the candidate’s performance in the Christ University online entrance exam.
c) Group Discussion: A weightage of 10% will be given for the candidate’s performance in the Group Discussion round.
d) Micro Presentation and Personal Interview: A weightage of 20% will be given for the candidate’s performance in the MP and PI rounds.
5. Final Selection: Based on the above criteria, a final merit list will be prepared, and candidates will be selected for admission to the program.
Note: Foreign/NRI candidates will not be required to appear for the online entrance exam. They will be selected based on their academic performance and personal interview.
