The selection procedure for admission to the Bachelor of Science (Data Science, Statistics/Honours/Honours with Research) at Christ University Bangalore Central Campus includes the following steps:
1. Online Application: Candidates must fill and submit the online application form on the official website of the university.
2. Christ University Entrance Test (CUET): Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for the Christ University Entrance Test, which is an online test conducted by the university. The test will evaluate the candidate’s basic aptitude, mathematical and analytical skills, English language, data interpretation and general knowledge.
3. Skill Assessment Test: Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the Skill Assessment Test, which will assess the candidate’s knowledge in data science and statistics.
4. Personal Interview: Candidates who qualify the CUET and Skill Assessment Test will be called for a personal interview round. The interview will focus on the candidate’s academic background, achievements, and interest in the field of data science and statistics.
5. Academic Performance: The final selection of candidates will also be based on their academic performance in Class 12 or equivalent examinations.
6. Announcement of Selection: The final list of selected candidates will be announced on the basis of their performance in the CUET, Skill Assessment Test, Personal Interview and academic performance.
Note: For the Honours with Research programme, candidates must have a valid score in any of the national level entrance exams like JEE Mains, NEET, or KVPY. They will also have to appear for a personal interview and a research proposal presentation. The final selection will be based on their performance in these rounds and academic performance in Class 12.
