Selection Process for Admission in Mount Carmel College Bangalore B.Sc — Biotechnology 2024.
The selection process for admission in Mount Carmel College Bangalore B.Sc Biotechnology consists of three stages:
1. Online Application: Candidates are required to fill the online application form available on the official website of Mount Carmel College. They are required to provide their personal details, academic qualifications, and upload the necessary documents.
2. Entrance Exam: After the submission of the application form, candidates have to appear for an entrance exam that consists of multiple-choice questions based on Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. The exam duration is usually 90 minutes. The marks obtained in this exam will be considered for the selection process.
3. Personal Interview: The final stage of the selection process is a personal interview. Shortlisted candidates from the entrance exam will be called for a personal interview. The interview panel will assess the candidate’s knowledge, communication skills, and interest in the subject.
Candidates who have completed their 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Biology, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Computer Science are eligible to apply for the B.Sc Biotechnology course. They are also required to have a valid score in any one of the following exams: NEET, KCET, COMEDK, JEE, or AIPMT.
The final selection for the B.Sc Biotechnology course will be based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam and personal interview. The college will release a merit list based on the marks obtained in both the stages. Selected candidates will then be required to complete the admission formalities and pay the required fees to confirm their seat.
