The selection process for Christ University’s Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology, Economics/Honours/Honours with Research program at the Bangalore Yeshwanthpur campus includes the following steps:
1. Application: Interested candidates can apply for the program through the official website of Christ University or through offline mode by obtaining the application form from the campus.
2. Eligibility Check: The university will first conduct an eligibility check to ensure that the candidate meets the minimum requirements for the program. This includes satisfying the academic eligibility in terms of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent).
3. Entrance Exam: Candidates will then have to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the university. The exam will test the candidate’s aptitude, reasoning, general knowledge, and English language skills.
4. Group Discussion: Shortlisted candidates from the entrance exam will be called for a group discussion. This is to assess the candidate’s communication skills, problem-solving ability, and teamwork.
5. Personal Interview: Candidates who clear the group discussion round will then have to appear for a personal interview. This is to evaluate the candidate’s interest in the subject, academic background, and overall personality.

Note: The university also offers direct admission to candidates who have a high score in standardized national-level tests such as CAT, MAT, XAT, or CMAT. These candidates will be exempted from the university’s entrance exam.
Once the final selection is done, the university will send the admission offer letter to the selected candidates. They will have to pay the required fees to confirm their admission and secure their seat in the program. In case of any vacant seats, the university may conduct spot admissions based on merit.
