The selection process for Christ University’s Bachelor of Arts in History, Political Science/Honours/Honours with Research is a three-stage process:

1. Entrance Exam:

The first stage of the selection process is an entrance test, which is conducted by the university. The entrance test is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and consists of multiple-choice questions. The duration of the test is 120 minutes and covers topics such as History, Political Science, English, and General Knowledge.

2. Skill Assessment:

The second stage of the selection process is a Skill Assessment, which consists of a written test and a personal interview. The written test assesses the candidate’s writing skills and knowledge in the areas of History and Political Science. The personal interview evaluates the candidate’s communication skills, subject knowledge, and overall personality.

3. The final merit list:

Based on the performance in the entrance test and skill assessment, a final merit list is prepared by the university. The merit list takes into consideration the candidate’s academic records, entrance test scores, skill assessment scores, and performance in the personal interview. The candidates who are shortlisted in the merit list are offered admission to the BA program.

Note: The entrance exam will be waived off for candidates who have scored 60% or above in their 10+2 or equivalent examinations. They will directly proceed to the skill assessment round.
