The selection process for Christ University’s Bachelor of Arts (Performing Arts, Psychology/Honours) program at the Bangalore Central Campus is a multi-stage process that includes the following steps:
1. Online Application: Candidates are required to submit an online application form on the official Christ University website.
2. Entrance Test: Candidates must appear for the Christ University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by the university. The test consists of sections on General Knowledge, English Language, Reasoning, Data Analysis and Interpretation, and Mathematical Skills.
3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on their CUET scores are required to submit their original documents for verification.
4. Personal Interview: Based on the CUET scores and document verification, candidates will be called for a personal interview round. This round will assess the candidate’s communication skills, subject knowledge, and suitability for the program.
5. Practical Training Assessment: Candidates applying for the Performing Arts specialization will have to participate in a practical training assessment in their chosen area of specialization, which may include singing, dancing, acting, or any other related activity.
6. Final Selection: The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the CUET, personal interview, and practical training assessment (for Performing Arts specialization). The university will prepare a merit list based on these criteria, and the selected candidates will be offered admission.
Note: The university also considers academic records and extracurricular achievements of the candidate while making the final selection.
