Selection Process for Christ University Bachelor of Arts (Psychology, Economics/Honours/Honours with Research)

The selection process for the Bachelor of Arts (Psychology, Economics/Honours/Honours with Research) program at Christ University Delhi NCR Off Campus consists of three stages:
1. Aptitude test
The first stage of the selection process is the Christ University Entrance Test (CUET), which is a computer-based test designed to assess the candidates’ verbal, quantitative, and logical reasoning abilities. It is a multiple-choice test with 120 questions to be completed in 120 minutes. The test covers topics such as English, General Knowledge, Data Analysis and Interpretation, Mathematics, and Reasoning Skills.
2. Group discussion
Candidates who qualify in the aptitude test will move on to the second stage, which is a group discussion. This is a round where candidates are divided into groups and given a topic to discuss. The objective of this round is to evaluate the candidates’ communication skills, knowledge about current affairs, and ability to work in a team.
3. Personal interview
The final stage of the selection process is a personal interview with a panel of faculty members. In this round, candidates will be assessed on their academic background, inclinations towards the chosen course, general awareness, and communication skills.
Final Selection
The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in all three stages of the selection process. The weightage for each stage is as follows:
– CUET — 60%
– Group discussion — 20%
– Personal interview — 20%
Candidates who are selected for admission will be informed through email and will be required to pay the admission fee to confirm their seat. The fee payment can be done online or offline as per the instructions provided by the university.
In case of a tie between two or more candidates, the following factors will be considered for final selection:
– Marks obtained in the CUET
– Marks obtained in Class 12 board exams
– Performance in group discussion and personal interview
