Selection Process for Christ University Bachelor of Arts (Psychology, English/Honours/Honours with Research)
1. Filling Out the Application Form: The first step in the selection process is to fill out the Christ University Application Form for the Bachelor of Arts program. This can be done online or offline by purchasing the form from the university campus. The application form will require you to provide personal and academic information, including your educational background, marks obtained in previous exams, and any other relevant details.
2. Entrance Exam: The next step is to appear for the Christ University Entrance Exam. This is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted by the university, which evaluates a candidate’s proficiency in English language, reasoning, general knowledge, and quantitative aptitude. The exam is usually held in April or May, and the results are announced within a few weeks.
3. Group Discussion (GD) and Micro Presentation (MP): After the entrance exam, shortlisted candidates will be called for a Group Discussion and Micro Presentation round. This is a crucial step in the selection process, as it evaluates a candidate’s communication skills, ability to work in a team, and their overall personality. The GD and MP round may also include a small written or analytical test.
4. Personal Interview (PI): Candidates who clear the GD and MP round are then called for a Personal Interview. This is the final stage of the selection process and is conducted to assess a candidate’s suitability for the program. The PI may be conducted by a panel of faculty members or industry experts and will focus on the candidate’s academic background, extracurricular activities, and career goals.
5. Final Selection: After considering the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam, GD-MP, and PI, the university will release a final merit list. Candidates who make it to the merit list will be offered admission to the Bachelor of Arts program at Christ University.
Note: The selection process may vary slightly for the Honours and Honours with Research programs, with additional weightage given to academic performance and research aptitude.
