Selection Process for Christ University Bachelor of Arts (Psychology, English/Honours/Honours with Research)

1. Online Application:
The first step of the selection process is to submit an online application on the Christ University website. Applicants should provide all the required personal and academic information along with any relevant documents.
2. Entrance Test:
Once the application is submitted, candidates will have to appear for the Christ University Entrance Test (CUET) which is an online test that assesses the candidate’s logical reasoning, verbal ability, and general knowledge. The test also contains questions related to psychology and English literature.
3. Skill Assessment:
After clearing the entrance test, candidates will have to attend a skill assessment round which includes a written essay, a group discussion, and a personal interview. The essay will assess the candidate’s writing skills while the group discussion aims to evaluate their communication and interpersonal skills. The personal interview will provide an opportunity for the candidate to showcase their knowledge, interest, and motivation for the course.
4. Result Declaration:
Based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance test, skill assessment, and their academic record, the final list of selected candidates will be declared on the Christ University website.
5. Counseling:
Selected candidates will have to attend a counseling session where they will have to select their preferred course along with the specialization (psychology, English/honours/honours with research). They will also have to pay the required fees to confirm their admission.
6. Final Admission:
Candidates who have paid their fees and completed all the necessary formalities will be considered for final admission to the Bachelor of Arts program at Christ University. These candidates will have to attend an orientation session before the start of the academic year 2024–25.
