The selection process for the Bachelor of Commerce programs at Christ University Bangalore Yeshwanthpur Campus includes three stages:
- Entrance Examination
The first stage of the selection process is a computer-based entrance examination. The test is designed to assess the candidate’s quantitative, analytical, verbal, and general awareness skills. It also includes questions related to general knowledge, current affairs, and logical reasoning. The duration of the exam is two hours, and it is conducted in multiple cities across India. - Skill Assessment
After clearing the entrance examination, candidates are required to appear for a skill assessment test. The test evaluates the candidate’s written communication skills, mathematical ability, and reasoning skills. The duration of this test is 90 minutes. - Personal Interview
The final stage of the selection process is a personal interview. Shortlisted candidates from the previous stages will be called for an interview with a panel of subject experts, which could include faculty members and industry professionals. The aim of the interview is to evaluate the candidate’s overall personality, communication skills, and understanding of the subject area.
The weightage given to each stage of the selection process is as follows:
Entrance Examination – 50%
Skill Assessment – 30%
Personal Interview – 20%
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in all three stages. The final merit list will be prepared by considering the scores obtained by the candidates in each stage and their academic performance in 10th and 12th grades.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified through the university’s official website and email. They will be required to attend a counseling session at the university to confirm their admission and pay the necessary fees.
