The selection process for Christ University’s Bachelor of Commerce (Honours/Honours with Research) degree at the Bangalore Yeshwanthpur campus consists of three stages:
- Online Application
- Entrance Exam
- Personal Interview
- Online Application:
Interested candidates must first fill out an online application form available on the official Christ University website. The application process includes providing personal information, academic details, and course preferences. A non-refundable application fee must also be paid at this stage. - Entrance Exam:
After the successful completion of the online application, candidates will be required to appear for the Christ University Entrance Test (CUET) or the Undergraduate Management Aptitude Test (UMAT) conducted by the university. The exam is based on the curriculum taught at the 10+2 level and will test the candidate’s aptitude for commerce, accounting, economics, and general knowledge. - Personal Interview:
Candidates who have scored a minimum of 40% on the entrance exam will be shortlisted for a personal interview round. The interview will be conducted either in person or through video conferencing. It is an opportunity for the admission committee to evaluate the candidate’s overall personality, communication skills, and motivation to pursue a career in commerce.
The final selection will be based on the overall performance of the candidates in the entrance exam and personal interview. A merit list will be prepared, and selected candidates will receive a formal offer of admission from the university. The selected candidates must then complete the admission process by paying the course fees and submitting the necessary documents.
Note: The university reserves the right to change the selection process and criteria at any time. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates and details.
