Selection Process for Christ University Bachelor of Law (BA LLB) (Honours)

The selection process for the BA LLB (Honours) program at Christ University’s Delhi NCR Off Campus consists of two stages:
Stage 1: Entrance Test
The first stage of the selection process is the entrance test. The test assesses the candidate’s aptitude, general knowledge, reasoning ability, and basic skills in language. The test is conducted for a duration of 2 hours and consists of the following sections:
– English Language (25 questions)
– General Knowledge (25 questions)
– Legal Aptitude and Reasoning (25 questions)
– Numerical Ability (25 questions)
Note: There will be negative marking for wrong answers.
Stage 2: Personal Interview
Candidates who clear the entrance test will be shortlisted for the second stage of the selection process, which is the personal interview. The personal interview aims to evaluate the candidate’s communication skills, subject knowledge, and overall personality.
The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the entrance test and personal interview. The weightage given to the two stages in the selection process is as follows:
– Entrance Test: 50%
– Personal Interview: 20%
– Academic Performance: 10%
– Extra-Curricular and Co-Curricular Activities: 10%
– Group Discussion: 10%
Note: The weightage given to academic performance, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, and group discussion may vary depending on the number of applicants.
Documents Required during the Selection Process:
– Printed copy of filled in online application form
– Copy of Class 10 Mark Sheet
– Copy of Class 11 and 12 Mark Sheets (if available)
– Copy of Undergraduate Mark Sheets (if available)
– Copy of qualifying exam scorecard (if available)
– Copy of ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driver’s License, etc.)
– Copy of Transfer Certificate (if applicable)
– Copy of Migration Certificate (if applicable)
– Copy of Character Certificate from the Principal of the last institution attended
– Copy of Proof of Parents’ Occupation (if applicable)
– Copy of Proof of Income (if applicable)
– Any other relevant documents as mentioned in the application form.
Note: Original copies of the above-mentioned documents and one set of self-attested copies must be produced during the selection process.
Candidates must also carry two recent passport size photographs and a demand draft for the application fee at the time of the selection process. The demand draft must be drawn in favor of “Christ University,” payable at Delhi.
