Selection Process for Christ University in Management Quota Bachelor of Technology Automobile Engineering (Lateral Entry) 2024.

The selection process for Christ University’s Bachelor of Technology in Automobile Engineering (Lateral Entry) programme in the Bangalore Kengeri campus is a four-step process consisting of the following stages:
1. Submission of Application Form:
Candidates who wish to apply for the programme must fill in the online application form available on the university website. They must also pay the application fee and upload the required documents in the specified format.
2. Selection Written Test:
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to appear for a written test conducted by the university. This test will assess the candidate’s aptitude, logical reasoning, and mathematical skills. It will be based on the level of difficulty of Class 10 and 12 examinations.
3. Personal Interview:
Candidates who clear the written test will be called for a personal interview round. The interview panel will assess the candidate’s communication skills, general knowledge, and interest in the Automobile Engineering field.
4. Counselling:
Based on their performance in the written test and personal interview, candidates will be called for a counselling session. During this session, they will be allotted seats based on their merit and availability of seats.
Management Quota:
In addition to the regular selection process, a certain percentage of seats are reserved for candidates seeking admission through management quota. To be eligible for management quota, candidates are required to fulfil the following criteria:
– Must have a minimum aggregate of 45% in the qualifying class 12 examination (40% for SC/ST candidates).
– Must have a valid score in any of the following entrance tests: KCET, COMEDK, JEE Main, or Christ University’s Entrance Test.
– Must have a good academic record and extracurricular achievements.
The final selection of candidates through management quota will be based on their performance in the personal interview and their academic record.
