Selection Process for Christ University in Management Quota Bachelor of Technology Civil Engineering 2024.
Bangalore Kengeri Campus
The selection process for Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering at Christ University’s Bangalore Kengeri Campus has three stages:
1. Eligibility: The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects and with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. They must also have a valid score in either the university’s own entrance test (CUET) or national level entrance tests like JEE Main, KCET, or other equivalent exams.
2. Skill Assessment: Shortlisted candidates based on their eligibility will be called for the Skill Assessment round at the campus. This includes a written test and a micro-presentation on a given topic, followed by a personal interview. The purpose of this round is to assess the candidate’s analytical, communication, and logical reasoning skills.
3. Personal Interview: Candidates who clear the Skill Assessment round will be called for a personal interview with a panel of faculty members. The interview will focus on the candidate’s academic background, extracurricular activities, and their motivation to pursue a career in Civil Engineering.
Note: Candidates applying under the Management Quota will have to appear for the Skill Assessment and Personal Interview rounds, and must also fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above. Other than this, the selection process for Management Quota candidates is the same as that of regular candidates. Additionally, Management Quota candidates must also have a valid score in a national level entrance test to be considered for admission.
The final selection of candidates for admission to the B.Tech program in Civil Engineering at Christ University will be based on the overall performance in the Skill Assessment, Personal Interview, and academic record of the candidate.
