Selection Process for Christ University in Management Quota Bachelor of Technology Mechanical Engineering 2024.
Bangalore Kengeri Campus
The selection process for Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering at Christ University’s Bangalore Kengeri campus consists of three stages:
1. Entrance Test: Candidates are required to appear for the Christ University Entrance Test (CUET) which is conducted by the university. This test evaluates the candidate’s aptitude in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. The questions are of multiple choice type and the duration of the test is 2 hours. The test is usually conducted in the month of May and the results are declared in June.
2. Skill Assessment: After the entrance test, candidates who have cleared the CUET are called for a Skill Assessment which includes a written assessment, group discussion, and a micro presentation. The duration of the skill assessment is approximately 3 hours.
3. Personal Interview: Following the Skill Assessment, candidates are called for a Personal Interview. This is the final stage of the selection process and candidates are evaluated based on their overall performance in the entrance test, skill assessment, and personal interview.
Note: Candidates who have a valid score in any of these entrance exams — JEE Main, COMED-K, or KCET, can also apply for direct admission.
Management Quota Admissions:
Christ University also offers Management Quota admissions for Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering. Candidates who are unable to secure a seat through the regular selection process can apply for this category. Admission through Management Quota is based on the availability of seats and the decision of the university.
