The selection process for Christ University Master of Arts English with Communication Studies takes place in two stages:
Stage 1: Entrance Test
The first stage of the selection process is the entrance test. The entrance test is conducted by the university and is mandatory for all applicants. The test will assess the candidate’s language and communication skills, analytical abilities, and general knowledge. The test will be conducted online or offline depending on the prevailing situation.
The pattern of the entrance test may vary from year to year, but it generally includes the following sections:

4. Essay writing
The duration of the entrance test is usually 2 hours.
Candidates who clear the entrance test will be shortlisted for the second stage of the selection process.
Stage 2: Personal Interview
The second stage of the selection process is the personal interview. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview conducted by the university. The interview will assess the candidate’s communication skills, subject knowledge, and overall personality.
During the interview, candidates may be asked questions regarding their educational background, work experience (if any), why they are interested in pursuing the course, and their future career goals.
The duration of the personal interview is usually 15–20 minutes.
Final Selection: The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the entrance test and personal interview. The university will prepare a merit list based on the combined scores of both stages. Shortlisted candidates will be offered admission to the program.
