Selection Process for Christ University Master of Science Clinical Psychology

Follow step for selection Process :
1. Entrance Exam: The first step in the selection process is the entrance exam conducted by the Christ University. This exam is conducted online or offline and is a test of the candidate’s aptitude and subject knowledge. The exam may also include a section on general knowledge and current affairs.
2. Group Discussion (GD): Candidates who qualify the entrance exam will be called for a group discussion round. In this round, candidates will be divided into groups and given a topic to discuss. The purpose of this round is to assess the candidate’s communication skills, problem-solving ability, and their ability to work in a team.
3. Personal Interview: Candidates who perform well in the entrance exam and group discussion round will be called for a personal interview. The interview panel will consist of faculty members from the Psychology Department who will assess the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and interest in the subject.
4. Academic Performance: The academic performance of the candidate will also be taken into consideration during the selection process. Candidates with a consistently good academic record will have an advantage over others.
5. Work Experience: Candidates with prior work experience in the field of psychology or related fields will also be given preference during the selection process.
6. Final Selection: The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the entrance exam, group discussion, personal interview, academic record, and work experience (if any).
Note: The selection process may vary for NRI and International students. They may be exempted from the entrance exam and have different criteria for selection.
Selection Process for Kengeri Campus:
1. Entrance Exam: The selection process for Kengeri campus will include an entrance exam followed by a group discussion and personal interview. The entrance exam will assess the candidate’s aptitude, subject knowledge, and basic understanding of research methodologies in Psychology.
2. Group Discussion (GD): Candidates who qualify the entrance exam will be called for a group discussion round. This round will assess the candidate’s communication skills, analytical thinking, and their ability to express their ideas and opinions.
3. Personal Interview: Candidates who perform well in the entrance exam and group discussion round will be called for a personal interview. The interview panel will consist of faculty members from the Psychology Department who will assess the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and interest in the subject.
4. Academic Performance: Similar to the central campus selection process, the academic performance of the candidate will also be taken into consideration.
5. Work Experience: Work experience in the field of psychology or related fields will be given preference during the selection process for the Kengeri campus as well.
6. Final Selection: The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the entrance exam, group discussion, personal interview, academic record, and work experience (if any).
Similar to the central campus, the selection process may differ for NRI and International students. They may be exempted from the entrance exam and have different criteria for selection.
