Selection Process for Christ University Master of Science Counselling Psychology

1. Application: The first step in the selection process is to submit an online application for the Master of Science in Counselling Psychology program at the Delhi NCR off-campus center of Christ University.
2. Entrance Exam: Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for an entrance exam, which will assess their knowledge and aptitude in the field of psychology. The exam may consist of objective and/or subjective questions related to Psychology, General Knowledge, and English Language.
3. Group Discussion: Candidates who qualify the entrance exam will be called for a group discussion round. This round will test their communication skills, critical thinking, and ability to work in a team.
4. Personal Interview: Based on the performance in the group discussion, shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. This round will evaluate their interest in the field of psychology, understanding of the subject, and their overall personality.
5. Academic Performance: The academic performance of the candidate till graduation will also be considered during the selection process.
6. Work Experience: Previous work experience, especially in the field of psychology or related fields, will also be taken into account during the selection process.
7. Statement of Purpose (SOP): All candidates will be required to submit a statement of purpose highlighting their interest in the field of psychology and why they want to pursue this program at Christ University.
8. Letters of Recommendation: Candidates will be required to submit letters of recommendation from their previous academic or work supervisors, highlighting their potential and skills.
9. Final Selection: The final selection will be based on the overall performance of the candidate in the entrance exam, group discussion, personal interview, academic performance, work experience, SOP, and letters of recommendation.
10. Document Verification: Selected candidates will be required to submit all the necessary documents for verification, including academic transcripts, work experience certificates, and identity proof.
11. Admission Process: After the document verification process, selected candidates will be offered admission to the Master of Science in Counselling Psychology program at the Delhi NCR off-campus center of Christ University.
