CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is a renowned educational institution founded by St Kuriakose Elias Chavara, an educationalist and social reformer in South India. Eligibility:
Eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) Examination from any recognised Board.
Candidates should have studied Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following 14 subjects# at +2 level and obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Mathematics & any one of the 14 subjects# and 50% in Mathematics.
Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2025 may apply with their class X and XI marks.
Students pursuing International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations:
Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits.
Applicants pursuing GCE / Edexcel must have a minimum of 3 A levels with a grade not less than C.
Lateral Entry:
Candidates who have successfully completed the 3 year diploma in Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology are eligible to apply for lateral entry into engineering programmes.
To be eligible for the programme, candidates must have passed the +2 level examination from a recognised board and studied Physics, Mathematics, and one of 14 subjects with a minimum of 50% in all three subjects. Those taking the +2 examinations in 2025 may apply with their class X and XI marks. For students following international curriculum, AIU guidelines must be followed, with a minimum of 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits for IB curriculum and 3 A levels with a grade not less than C for GCE/Edexcel. Candidates with a 3-year diploma in Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology are also eligible for lateral entry into engineering programmes.
